I know I can't be the only one playing it in Lewis County.

I'm currently playing on the Tichondrius server Horde-side on a Hunter and on the Alliance on the Sentinels server.

I recently came back after a 6-month hiatus of having not-good-enough internet. I like a lot of the changes they've brought in, including the new LFG system. I had absolutely zero problems snagging a group with a Hunter, which is a huge change from before. Only a few groups were fail, too. It's pretty amazing being able to log onto a Hunter and get a group within 10 minutes!

I picked it up a few weeks after it came out and had a good time. I tried to get my friends into it over spring/summer 05 but they didn't care. I finally gave up after a few months since I wasn't having any fun questing or grinding by myself and shelved it for a year.

Friends went on with their lives and I went on with mine and then found out they had started playing it all together and I got back into it to join them. By this time, though, they were all level 60 and wanted to have nothing to do with my level 32 character. So I toiled once again by myself before realizing I wasn't having any fun.

That process repeated two more times with various sets of friends.

No more. I will never go back to Azeroth.

I do have a special place in my heart for Ticho, though. Best server there ever was. Since you've been playing for so long, maybe we ran into each other online some number of years ago? Pretty weird.

Also, no MMO has ever topped UO.

I feel yeah on the level difference thing. I'm level 69 right now, and everybody's 80 ... but with some of the adjustments Blizz made to the game, I'm not minding as much. The new LFG system made it to where I can get a group within 10 minutes, everybody teleported there and ready to go! So I can hop on after the kiddo goes to bed and run a few instances without the headache of waiting around, LFGing, then finally the run out to wherever the instance is.

I'm rambling which means I should probably go to sleep now. ;D

Just wanted to add that I hit level 80 on my Dwarf Priest the other day.

And the peasants rejoiced ...

Nope, nope, <Robot Kitten Happy Train> FTW!

I mostly play my Tichondrius Hordelings during the week since I have IRL friends on that server, and on the weekend, I hop over to my Sentinels Prot Pally to tank for a nice group of people.

I was just talking about going on Emerald Dream with a few WoW buddies last night. How's the health of the server? Are people actually RPing?

I played on Emerald Dream when the server first came out, and it was quite a bit of fun. There was a good, solid community and lots of participation. I hope it's still the same (or somewhat close to it).

the server is very healthy course the other servers i play on are dead. theres a mixture of rp and non rp. as a whole id say the server is one of the busyer ones! only one ive had ques on in the last 3 years, not big ones but peak times you might have to wait a minute to get to the charecter screen.

A WoW update!

I'm back tinkering around on Sentinels again. Have 80 priest/pally/shaman there, and am working on leveling up my lock and rogue next. Weeee!

I've got 6 toons on the Khaz Modan realm; my main one is a lvl 55 Gnome Warlock named Morbit; my other toon I play the most of a lvl 63 Night Elf Death Knight. Other than that I've got a few low lvl toons; anyone here play on Khaz Modan??

Hehe, I'm poking around on Runes of Magic now. Free-to-play game for the most part, kinda like WoW, but different.

In the Ruins of Lordearon or UC where the throne is for arthas's father...if u turn up the ambient and the music/sound all the way down you'll hear some amazing stuff :P

start from the bell tower where it signify s arthas's arrival..and then the hall where you hear people cheering him..and ends in the throne room where you hear him kill his father...it's pretty creepy and awesome at the same time

Almost52, that's one of my favorite bits of the game. Finding all the Easter eggs tucked lovingly away by the designers.

I really wish that Cataclysm would just hurry up!

I do believe Cataclysm is set for a November 1st release date; unless Blizzard decides to move it up after the beta testing is done!

Which...I would be OK with, having been through the all the previous expansion (and original game!) releases.

I'm also on the fence as to whether or not I'll play since most of the people that I did play with have moved on to something else now. =\

I am starting to believe Cataclysm is being pushed back a little probably more like December now....

WoW is just getting boring especially since we know it will all change soon

Yeah, I kinda gave up on it when I found out how long it would be. No amount of content updates would entice me to come back at this point. I'll probably make a Worgen and Goblin when Cataclysm comes out to see the stories, but that's about it.

I miss vanilla WoW.
